With the holidays in our rear view, the family Folz hit up Clifton dining staple Dusmesh.

Located near Cincinnati State, Dusmesh is located in a charming, stand-alone building. We had no trouble finding parking in their lot.

The dining room was divided into two sides. It wasn’t fancy, a little run down, but it was warm.

We got the buffet. It was well-stocked with familiar favorites but also some more exotic tastes, like spicy goat curry and aloo tikka.

The rice was a little on the dry side. Rachel enjoyed the rich curry, it was light on chicken, a plus in her book. The samosas had a bold flavor.

The naan was a little on the bready, dense side, but still good.

The saag was mushroom, not paneer. It was good but the texture was a little strange. The buffet was busy, which led to them quickly running out of some more desirable items, like the rice and naan. Also, they seemed to be having trouble keep all the food hot.

All in all, a very good, well-rounded buffet experience.
